We Handle Individual and Class Action Employment Lawsuits
Individual Employee Lawsuits
Our Charlotte, North Carolina employment lawyers represent employees in individual claims, including claims for unpaid minimum wages, overtime pay, and other wages (commissions, bonus pay, and vacation pay), Equal Pay Act claims for pay discrimination, and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) claims. On a very select basis, we handle discrimination claims based on race, national origin, gender, age, and disability, including claims for unlawful harassment and retaliation.
We handle individual employee lawsuits on a combined retainer/contingency basis. Our goal is to limit your out-of-pocket risk if we agree to accept your case. We are very selective about the lawsuits we accept and dedicate as much time as necessary to help our clients resolve their employment disputes. By selecting you as a client, we are foregoing accepting other clients who wish to utilize our services. For this reason, we charge a true general retainer at the time you hire our law firm, plus a monthly true general retainer until your case is resolved. Any other fees we earn are based on the results of your case and paid as a percentage of the recovery. If there is no recovery, you only pay the retainer fees described above.

We help employees recover all the pay they are legally owed, plus additional damages and penalties provided by law. We also represent workers who have been treated as independent contractors.
